ABOUT US

CONCEPT

The building was undergoing a major renovation that provided for the conservation of the building through the restoration of stone façades, wooden floors and roofs. The renovation wanted to safeguard the history and traditions of the place also through the use of local raw materials such as Lessinia’s stone, terracotta, wood and iron. Natural materials were used for restoration of the walls, such as Cocciopesto and intonachins.

HISTORY

The building is a rural house with stone masonry, floors and wooden covering, dating back to the middle of the 18th century.

The structure is characterized by three sections of building that follow each other, made according to historical sources in successive phases: the three-storey main part was the peasant’s residence, while the second and third houses the porticoes, the Stall and barn.Fin immediately we perceived in this place a positive energy that has convinced us to embark on this adventure.

We decided to create a tourist accommodation to give more people a chance to live in this place as we live. The idea is to share with our guests the love we have for this land.

Wood and iron are recurring materials also in terms of furniture, where they have been used, in a modern way, to make beds, furniture and lighting elements.
